About Us

Founded in 1997, The Suncoast Blues Society (SBS) is a 501©(3) non-profit organization located in the Tampa Bay Region of Florida’s Gulf Coast.

We are here to serve as a liaison between musicians and fans throughout the Tampa Bay communities by promoting shows at local clubs and area Blues Festivals bringing local and national touring artists to our area.

Our members are comprised of Blues Fans from all over the world and are kept up to date through our website www.suncoastblues.org, Facebook, and the Suncoast Blues News email updates.

The society’s mission statement for Keeping the Blues Alive is seen through our community outreach programs (Blues in the Library, Blues in the Schools, and Blues in the Community) and supporting live Blues Music.
